Clean House

Working 15hours a day, that's at work and home a day...is a challenge and a half. My house has been going through a tough time because of it. My house is really small and the floors are laid out with those wooden blocks which gets sO noisy when they come loose. So cleaning house after Tazlin's Bedtime is not something I don't like to do too often. 

This past weekend I finally got all our washing done and I've even managed to do all the dishes, clean the lounge and sort out Tazlin's clothes that are too small to that which fits. Plus on top of it all, I was brave enough to start Potty Training Tazlin.

Day 1: Saturday 4 August. Was almost a breeze with potty training, only had 3 spills. Didn't get as much done as I had anticipated in and around the house, since she decided she'd like to take a stroll around to the neighbor's house {living on a shared property}

Day 2: Sunday 5 August. What a mess! With me less focused on Tazlin and more focused on getting the chores done left Tazlin and myself distracted. I had to change her pants...3 times if not more, and at one stage I thought ~ awe, let her go bare bum a bit and what did I get? Poop on the toolbox!!! I had it out in front of the stove since I used it as a step to nail some hooks into the wall, she thought it fun to climb on it to have a better reach to the oven light switch. And by the time I realized she was pushing...it was too late! She made a boony on the toolbox!

There's another public holiday coming up this week and I'm so keen to get my house in order plus to continue with the potty training, so Tazlin can get the hang of things. She's going to visit Grandma on Friday though since we're working {the PH is on Thursday} maybe she won't mind doing sum potty training either.

I need to make a conscience decision to do a thorough spring-clean once a week, even if it means doing it taking redbull and staying up till midnight ~ I NEED A CLEAN HOUSE!
